Paul Larkin, someone we’re proud to support here at Next Stage ‘A Way Forward’ Ltd, held his third public art exhibition and it was great as ever.
Titled ‘The Paul Larkin Experience’, the exhibition took place at Holy Trinity Church on Sankey Street, Warrington, for one day only on 20th June 2025, between 10am and 1pm. The event welcomed supporters, visitors, and members of the public, all coming together to experience Paul’s emotional and expressive journey through art.
This latest exhibition is a continuation of Paul’s incredible commitment to raising awareness around mental health and the power of creativity. Over the years, Paul has used painting as a way to explore his thoughts, work through difficult times, and build a sense of purpose.
“I do art for my mental health,” Paul shared in the Warrington Guardian (29th July 2024).
“It helps me process how I feel. It gives me something positive to focus on.”
Each piece on display gave a glimpse into Paul’s inner world, filled with colour, energy, and deep emotional honesty. His will to share his art publicly, again and again, speaks volumes about his growth, resilience, and strength.

At Next Stage ‘A Way Forward’ Ltd, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside Paul on this journey. With every exhibition, his confidence has grown. His story is a powerful reminder that support work doesn’t always follow a straight line, but with the right support, creativity, and opportunity, people can thrive.
