A Service Built on Trust

We are specialist care providers, supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs and/or autism. The support we provide is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. We put together a bespoke support package that covers all aspects of the person’s life, including any diagnostic needs.

We have been registered Social Care Providers for almost two decades and, in that time, we have helped many adults live rich and fulfilling lives as part of their local communities. Whether you’re a family member, friend, guardian, or social worker, you can rest assured that your loved ones will be given all the care and support they need.

The People We Support

Our programme of support is specialised towards people that have learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism spectrum disorder. We tailor our extensive range of support services to meet the requirements of each individual. Each of our bespoke support programmes is carefully planned to cover all aspects of a person’s life, including diagnosis and related needs.

A Day In The Life Of The People We Support

There’s no such thing as a typical day for the people we work with. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so how a person spends their day will depend very much on the individual. Some may wish to have a variety of activities to choose from, while others may prefer constant routine and reassurance. Our trained and experienced staff will work with them to ensure they get the most out of their day-to-day experience. This can include trying new things, getting involved in community projects, or finding employment.

Social Value

Social Value is important to us at Next Stage  A Way Forward because it gets us to think about what we do and what  value this brings to the people we support and the wider communities that we are a part of.

We are proud to be a  Real Living Wage Employer for all our employees  and  we always aim to recruit locally to the services. We are fully committed to always doing better by our people, communities and the environment and this sits at the heart of all that we do.

We have a dedicated Social Value Team, that includes Community Link Co-ordinators that work direct with the people we support to play an active role in their local community and ensure that we are supporting people to reach their own personal outcomes and goals.

The Social Value Team ensure that we operate in a socially responsible and ethical manner while promoting positive social impact and value within  the communities we serve and the people we support.

We work with  key stakeholders and manage our social responsibility initiatives, and ensure that we adhere to ethical and social responsibility guidelines and legislation. Our contributors are critical to promoting positive social impact and values, building strong relationships and contributing to our overall success and sustainability.

We are excited about our Social Value Journey, keep an eye on our blog section for regular updates on all our different initiatives.
